Privacy Policy
Lowlands New York · last updated 17 September 2026
This is a single announcement page. It has no accounts, no sign-up form and no tracking. Below is exactly what happens when you open it — nothing more.
What we store on your device
| Name | What it holds | How long |
|---|---|---|
lowlands_lang | The language you picked, so the page opens in it next time. | Until you clear your browser data |
gdpr-consent-v2 | Your answer to the cookie banner, so we stop asking. | Until you clear your browser data |
Both are kept in your own browser (local storage). They never reach our servers, contain no name, no e-mail address and no identifier, and we cannot read them.
What we do not do
No advertising or tracking pixels, no profiling, and no sale or sharing of personal data.
Analytics only runs if you allow it in the cookie banner: then Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland)
counts the visit anonymously and sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>
(2 years). Without that consent nothing from Google loads. See the Cookie Policy.
Third parties that see your visit
The typefaces are hosted on this site itself. The page loads one image from Cloudflare R2, and, only after your consent, Google Analytics 4. Your IP address reaches those services because your browser requests the files directly, as with any website. Hosting is by Cloudflare, which processes the request in order to serve the page.
If you e-mail us
Writing to ny@lowlands.business is your choice. We keep that message and your address only to answer you, and no longer than needed for that conversation.
Bot measurement (R4M gate)
This site counts visits to recognise bots and scrapers (R4M gate, measuring mode: nobody is blocked). No IP address is stored. For bots we keep the name (user agent), the path, the network owner and the country; those figures are only published as totals. For regular visitors we keep no network or country.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold, object to its use, and receive a copy. Since this page collects nothing on its own, that will in practice concern e-mail you sent us. Write to ny@lowlands.business and we answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
Changes
If this page starts doing more — a sign-up form, a newsletter, analytics — this policy is updated before that goes live, and the date above changes with it.
